Use the 3M™ Protective Coverall 4530 for protection against dirt, splashes and toxic dusts, including nuclear particles. This protective coverall complies with various standards applicable to chemical protective clothing, including EN 1149 Antistatic Protection, EN 1073-2 Resistance to nuclear particles, EN ISO 13688, Type 6 Liquid Splashes EN 13034 and Type 5 Dusts EN ISO 13982-1. It is easy to identify thanks to the white triangle on the blue coverall, which is made from the same 54 g SMMS material as the rest. This protective coverall includes a special treatment of the material only (not the components), offering resistance to flame spread according to ISO 14116 Index 1. This means that the disposable protective coverall can be used over FR Index 2/3 garments to offer better performance in certain environments with chemical splashes and hazardous dusts, and extend garment life by minimizing the need for washing. The 3M 4530 protective coverall is soft and breathable despite being robust and resistant, with a weight of 54 g. It is manufactured from SMMS, consisting of a spunbond layer on the inside and outside and 2 meltblown layers in the middle. The spunbond material guarantees soft strength and splash protection, while the meltblown layers provide a complex multilayer microfibre web that filters dry particles. Soft, breathable and very lightweight, the non-woven material allows easier release of body heat and moisture, providing comfortable wear for increased workplace productivity. The 3-panel hood design compatible with other PPE, knitted cuffs for secure and comfortable arm placement, triangular gusset panel, and two-way zip, waist and ankles ensure ease of removal, a better fit and greater peace of mind.
