Use the 3M™ Protective Coverall 4520 for protection against dirt, splashes, and toxic dusts, including nuclear particles. This protective coverall complies with various standards applicable to chemical protective clothing, including EN 1149 Antistatic Protection, EN 1073-2 Resistance to Nuclear Particles, EN ISO 13688, Type 6 Liquid Splashes EN 13034, and Type 5 Dusts EN ISO 13982-1. It is easy to identify thanks to the green triangle, which is manufactured from the same 43 gsm SMMMS material as the rest. This protective coverall was designed to reduce weight and maintain performance through the addition of multiple layers. It is manufactured with SMMMS, which consists of a spunbond layer on the inside and outside and 3 layers of meltblown material in the middle. The spunbond material ensures soft strength and splash protection, while the meltblown layers provide a complex multilayer web of microfibers that filter dry particles. Soft, breathable, and very lightweight, the non-woven material allows for easier release of body heat and moisture, providing comfortable wear for increased workplace productivity. The design with a 3-panel hood compatible with other PPE, knitted cuffs for secure and comfortable arm placement, and a two-way zipper, elasticated waist and ankles ensure ease of removal, better fit, and greater peace of mind. It guarantees antistatic performance according to the EN 1149 standard to minimize discharge and the risk of sparks and ignition. The 3M 4520 protective coverall is ideal for particle-based applications, such as pharmaceutical processing and toxic powder handling.
