Protective screens offer maximum safety and protection against sparks and metal slag produced in cutting or welding work, due to their special construction in different flexible layers of flame-retardant textile fibers. They are made of fireproof material with fiberglass and feature a special high-silica finish. A special bath ensures that a large portion of the silica particles are impregnated into the fabric. This finish improves protection against spatter and welding slag. The amount of silicic acid increases the viscosity of spatters upon contact with the fabric. Does not contain asbestos. Constant use temperature 700ºC. Peak temperature 900ºC. Ref. PT10
